We were absolutely thrilled to be announced the winner of the Strategic Planning and Management category of this year’s Construction Marketing Awards!
On 1st December, Jodie and Jen attended the 2022 Construction Marketing Awards ceremony at Hilton London Bankside, where Smith Goodfellow were finalists in the Strategic Planning and Management category for our work with Siderise on a comprehensive EduComms campaign. It was a lively evening and the room was brimming with construction marketing talent! It was the first time we’ve entered the CMAs and a real honour to have won- especially as there were over 2000 entries! We believe that this achievement stands testament to how our in-depth understanding of the construction industry informs our communications approaches, the investment we make into the quality of our work, and the expertise of our team and our brilliant clients.
We are especially proud that this win recognises our skills in strategic planning and management, as this is absolutely core to everything we promise and deliver for our clients, regardless of size or audience.
About the EduComms campaign
The Siderise EduComms strategy exemplifies what can be achieved when technical experts and communications strategists come together to create something that truly adds value to the construction industry as a whole.
Fire safety is complex. However, through careful consideration of market knowledge levels and an understanding of how information can be approached and layered up, our strategy allowed specifiers—whatever their background— to improve their knowledge of this vital area of construction.
What the judges said
“A good, knowledgeable analysis of the challenge of changing building safety practice. This is a well thought through campaign with a clear structure. It’s very well executed.”
What our client said
“Thanks and huge congratulations to Smith Goodfellow for all their work with the team at Siderise Group. Not only are we helping to provide clarity on passive fire protection for facade systems, product performance, testing and certification, but we’re taking it to a global, multidisciplinary audience. Hats off to this superstar team.”
Massive congratulations to everyone who took home a win from the CMAs this year – we’re honoured to be recognised amongst such a talented bunch. Here’s to more award winning PR in 2023!
