The not-for-profit, Engineered Panels in Construction (EPIC), was established in 1991. After many years working with some of the biggest insulated panel manufacturers in the UK, it was time for an update.
As it is a well-respected trade association providing experienced and technical input to the industry and Government bodies, the EPIC management team wanted to ensure its branding helped them to convey this level of professionalism whilst still maintaining a unique presence.
We needed to establish a consistent, easily identifiable brand presence across the website, social media, in technical literature, on business cards, and at industry events.
In addition, there was a large amount of literature in the old branding which looked outdated and we didn’t have access to the original design files. We wanted to ensure that the new style would be easier to edit and update, should technical information such as Building Regulations change.

We’d supported with the design and development of the Engineered Panels in Construction (EPIC) website in 2016 in collaboration with our long-time creative partner, Steve Perry Creative. Following the brand refresh, this was also updated.
The result is a refreshed brand which accurately reflects the professionalism and influence of the trade association. This has been rolled out across numerous pieces of literature and used on event stands at two key events:

We also saw increased downloads of the updated literature. For example, the ‘Identification and Disposal’ guide was updated and replaced the original 2016 guide 22 June 2022. EPIC saw website downloads for this document increase by 28.57% on the previous year (July-June).
